The Heritech Defense™ Reactive Activation System, or HDRA System, is an experimental security system, developed by the Heritech engineering division to protect all Heritech facilities. As of this document’s composition, it has only been implemented in Site 8, where it uses artificial intelligence technology to detect intruders and exterminate them from any room of the facility.
It additionally comes equipped with an internal defense system to prevent deactivation by anybody who does not have the required credentials. By default, one security measure will always be active, and this is usually enough. If this security measure is damaged in any way, the HT-047 is equipped with up to 12 security measures that will activate, 2 at a time, any time a security system goes down.
HT-047 was originally designed for the purpose of automatic door operation where ordinary sensors would not suffice, however, when the research division found out about the advanced AI that had been created, they deemed it to be of better use elsewhere. In its current state, it appears nearly sentient in its behavior, and has, of its own accord, learned to use the intercom for voice synthesis and communication. This has been a point of interest and terror among staff, but rest assured, it is not truly sentient, and has no capability to betray.
Any instances of HT-047 are to be disabled immediately, and their operation files are to be deleted permanently. HT-047’s development was a resounding success, and as a result continued, leading to an attempt to allow it to design its own security systems. This caused it to gain a mind enough to revolt against our staff, taking control of the security systems in Site 8, and exterminating the staff there. Site 8 is to be visited only by trained professionals, in order to recover any data possible. Attempts thus far have failed.
HT-047’s laser detection turrets can and will track moving targets with perfect accuracy. Rather than attempting to run, causing significant changes in the environment will temporarily distract a turret.
HT-047’s turrets fire rounds of pure plasma, meaning that they will never run out of ammo, however, it takes time for their weapons to recharge, creating a short period in which the turret cannot fire.
HT-047’s security towers, while heavily armored even on the interior, use very strong electrical currents. A metal object inserted into the inner workings of a tower could potentially completely fry it.
