MM-006 are an advanced variation of MM-002, modified to better respond to commands and execute complex tasks. They are somewhat intelligent, and hold one constant form most of the time, that of a human constructed of MM-001. To simplify containment, the part of their brain that controls shapeshifting have been removed, meaning they will not change shapes as many other subspecies of MM-002 do.

MM-006 have been designated menial tasks around the facilities in which they reside, such as maintenance and janitorial duties. Thus far, they have proven capable of such jobs, and will for the foreseeable future be used in labor intensive work.

Update, 5/4/35

As of this update, production of MM-006, at least in their current form, is forbidden. Over time, MM-006 forms deteriorate, partially melting and forming sharp ‘hooks’. Their mental capacities also deteriorate, something we have yet to find a way to rectify, leading to intense aggression towards anything they find to move.

They are especially attracted to beings made of mimic matter, as consuming mimic matter from living creatures seems to allow them to better maintain their melting form. They act as a hivemind, drawing any loose mimic matter nearby into themselves, and using it similarly to a spiderweb to find prey. Upon finding prey, they will begin screaming and rush through the area in search of them. If they find their target, they will use their hooks to hoist it into the air for a moment, before devouring it near instantly.

Extermination Crew Procedures

MM-006 are fast, and have the potential to kill near instantly. Reaction is usually not enough, instead it is recommended to predict their arrival and prepare to hide. If you hear dripping or flowing water, one is most likely coming.

MM-006, while swift killers, will hoist their prey into the air for a short time before consumption. If you are confident in your ability to kill it quickly and don’t mind significant injury, this period can provide a chance to kill the entity.

MM-006 are extremely short-sighted, and even then have poor eyesight. If no lockers are available, getting out of its path or behind an object may suffice. To tell what path an MM-021 will take, one can watch for exactly where the mimic matter is dropping or pooling.
